Each month, I send birthday greetings and sometimes small gifts to friends and family members.  During Covid the supply of cards on hand, quickly dwindled.  It was the beginning of the pandemic and I was reticent to visit public places, including stores.  So, I decided in May of 2020 that I would create handmade cards for the birthdays of two friends.  I began to tailor the cards to reflect the personal taste and style of the recipients. 

For gifts, I was sending out specialty tea bags; but again, I ran out of those.  I decided that others may be facing the same dilemma of not having greeting cards on hand, so I began to send a small pack of greeting cards as gifts.  
So began my foray into card making!  Soon, I was getting phone calls from friends who exclaimed that the cards they received were so beautiful they were hesitant to part with them.  I assured them I could make them more; and I did!  Orders for cards began coming from friends and recipients of MaryPatsy’s handmade cards.  Now, I want to make cards for YOU!
